Man Known as ‘Baby’ Shot in Drive-by Shooting on Bypass Road, Arima

A chilling episode unfolded last evening in Mt. Pleasant, Arima, when a man, known locally as ‘Baby’, was shot on Bypass road. Reports indicate that a White Tida car pulled up to a group of men who were casually congregating on the roadside. Without warning, shots were fired from the car, sparking immediate chaos. ‘Baby’, while attempting to flee from the scene, was struck three times in his back.

The severity of ‘Baby’s’ injuries and his current condition remain unknown at this time. It is unclear whether any of the other men present during the incident were injured.

The shocking incident has left the community on edge. The apparent randomness of the attack and the brutality of it has raised concerns about the safety of the area.

Police are currently investigating the shooting. However, no additional details about the assailants or potential motives have been released. As the investigation continues, residents of Mt. Pleasant, Arima are hoping for swift justice and a return to peace.
