Man Drowns at Beach Outing with Family

A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at a beach where a man drowned while spending time with his family. The victim was identified as 57-year-old Selvon Ramjit from Quarry Village, Siparia. Ramjit went for a swim just after 3 p.m. and began to experience difficulties. Despite the immediate response from lifeguards who managed to pull him out of the water, Ramjit was declared dead at the scene. The authorities are currently carrying out investigations into the incident.
