Man Dies Outside Clinic after Collapsing in Car Park

Robin Randal-Phillips, a 67-year-old man from Diego Martin, tragically passed away on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, while en route to the St. Clair Medical Centre. The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. when Randal-Phillips, after parking his car in the medical centre’s car park, suddenly collapsed. Despite immediate assistance from a passerby, who attempted CPR, he could not be revived. The District Medical Officer declared him dead at 11:50 a.m. Earlier that day, Randal-Phillips had been playing tennis at Tranquility Square Tennis Club, when he started experiencing chest pain. He left immediately for medical treatment but unfortunately collapsed before he could reach the medical centre. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at the Port of Spain Mortuary on Monday.
