Dublin, Ireland – On Monday, detectives from the Crime South unit, operating out of Lucan and Ronanstown Garda stations, arrested a man and a woman, both in their 20s, as part of a broader investigation into a criminal network suspected of funneling drugs and other contraband into the Irish prison system.
The arrests were made during a targeted operation in the Dublin region. The two suspects are currently being held at a Garda station in the Dublin area, where they may be detained for questioning for up to seven days under Irish criminal justice legislation.
