**29 July 2024**

– **Andrew Backhouse, 72**, of Wartling Close, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to breaching a court restraining order by making contact with a protected individual. The breach occurred on 14 May 2024 in St Leonards. He was given an 18‑month conditional discharge.

**30 July 2024**

– **Lianne Carson, 39**, of St Marks Close, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. The incident occurred on 22 February 2024 on Peartree Lane, Bexhill. She was fined £69.

– **Diane Brown, 69**, of Hollington Park Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to attempting to steal a purse on 24 November 2022 in St Leonards. She received a one‑year conditional discharge.
