Prime Minister Luca Niculescu addressed a working meeting on “The Information Society and Constitutional Democracy,” describing the theme as one of the major challenges facing the contemporary world. He praised the dialogue between constitutional jurisdictions, calling it a “particularly valuable undertaking” that places the debate at the highest level of societal implications—specifically, the fundamental values of a society and their expression through constitutional justice. Niculescu added that these values, even when not always obvious, influence the everyday lives of citizens. At the beginning of his remarks, the Prime Minister thanked the organizers for the invitation and welcomed the connection with the francophone community. He noted that it is always a great pleasure to join the francophonie, whose democratic spirit is also reflected in the Association of Francophone Constitutional Courts.
