LGB posts ZWG47.97m revenue, pushes tighter regulation of online gaming

The Lotteries and Gaming Board (LGB) of Zimbabwe has reported a total revenue of ZWG47.97 million for the financial year ended December 31, 2025. This resulted in an operating surplus of ZWG2.48 million.

According to the LGB’s chief executive, who presented the board’s financial performance at the LGB’s fifth annual general meeting, the organization is calling for stronger regulation of Zimbabwe’s rapidly growing online gaming sector.

The LGB’s financial performance and regulatory efforts are part of its ongoing efforts to oversee the country’s gaming industry. The board’s push for tighter regulation of online gaming aims to address the sector’s growth and associated concerns.
