Emergency services in Andorra are reporting an increase in consultations for injuries and trauma during the summer months, a trend attributed to the rise in outdoor recreational activities. According to the Servei Andorrà d’Atenció Sanitària (SAAS), these cases are predominantly minor in nature but occur more frequently during the summer compared to the winter season.
In addition to physical injuries, medical staff have observed a rise in other summer-related health issues. These include allergic reactions, skin conditions, and episodes of discomfort caused by high temperatures. Conversely, the frequency of respiratory-related medical consultations has seen a decline during this period.
