Throughout his career, Ombana has participated in various initiatives focused on professional integration, capacity building for youth organizations, and the promotion of inclusive governance. His advocacy work has included developing partnerships with public institutions and international organizations to support youth development at national, regional, and continental levels.
Notably, Ombana contributed to the development of the Plan National de Croissance et de Développement (PNCD) 2026-2030. His input specifically addressed human capital, youth entrepreneurship, and the alignment of youth skills with sectors identified as having high growth potential.
The CJSEBJ stated that the award reflects a broader effort to recognize individuals whose work contributes to the construction of public policy and the active involvement of youth in the nation’s development.
