The president of the Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) party, Leonel Fernandez, presided over an event in Reading, Pennsylvania, on Sunday to swear in new members to the political organization.
During the gathering, Fernandez addressed the importance of the Dominican community living abroad. He proposed the establishment of a strategic alliance between the Dominican Republic and its diaspora, emphasizing that the role of Dominicans residing outside the country is a determining factor for the nation.
