Le discours enflammé de Chrétien ovationné lors de la commémoration du 11-Septembre

Former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien received a standing ovation following a speech delivered during a ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The event took place on Friday in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Chretien, who led the Canadian government during the 2001 attacks, addressed the audience to commemorate the historic response of the local community. Gander became a focal point of international relief efforts in 2001 when dozens of diverted aircraft were grounded in the town, leading residents to host thousands of stranded passengers.

The former prime minister’s remarks were met with enthusiasm from those in attendance as the community gathered to reflect on the events of two and a half decades ago.
