Peruvian television presenter Laura Bozzo is currently in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Mexico City, where she is receiving respiratory support, is intubated and sedated after complications that required urgent surgery. The medical issue began during a stay in Acapulco, when Bozzo experienced severe abdominal pain that prompted her transfer for medical evaluation and surgery. Her condition worsened due to a developing infection, leading to her relocation to the capital for continuous monitoring. Reports indicate that her prognosis is serious but stable. In a recent interview on the program Desvelados on América TV, Bozzo’s former partner, Argentine singer Cristian Zuárez, provided details about his involvement in monitoring her condition. “I have been aware from the very first moment, I am in constant contact with the family, with Alejandra,” Zuárez said, explaining that he maintains communication with Bozzo’s relatives to stay informed about her health status. He also mentioned that he is in contact with Alejandra de la Fuente, Bozzo’s youngest daughter, as part of his ongoing follow‑up. Zuárez used the interview to ask Bozzo’s supporters to pray for her recovery. “Today I can tell you that I am praying a lot, my family and I, for Laura, for her quick recovery,” he said.
