L’FC Andorra cau per la mínima davant l’Eibar després de veure com el VAR li anul·lava l’empat en el tram final

**FC Andorra 0 – 1 Eibar**

*Andorra la Vella, 31 August 2026* – In a tightly contested fixture, FC Andorra were defeated 0‑1 by SD Eibar. The decisive goal came from Aleix Garrido just after the start of the second half, giving the Basque side the only lead of the match.

FC Andorra had enjoyed a period of numerical superiority after a red card in the 57th minute, but were unable to convert the advantage into a goal. In the closing stages, a potential equalising strike for Andorra was reviewed by the video‑assistant referee (VAR), which subsequently ruled the goal out, preserving Eibar’s 1‑0 lead until the final whistle.

The match featured limited clear‑cut chances from both teams, with the decisive moment occurring early in the second half. The result leaves FC Andorra with a narrow defeat, while Eibar secures three points.
