*Bishkek, 27 August 2026* – In Doha, Aibek Toktobolotov, Kyrgyzstan’s ambassador to Qatar, met with Hassan bin Abdullah Al‑Ghanim, chairman of Qatar’s Al‑Shura Majlis (parliament). The two officials discussed plans to broaden interparliamentary cooperation between the two nations.

According to the Kyrgyz news agency Kabar, the meeting focused on enhancing legislative dialogue and collaboration, though specific initiatives or timelines were not disclosed in the statement released after the talks.
