**Kyrgyzstan Hosts 35th Meeting of CIS Information Council**
*Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – September 2, 2026* – Kyrgyzstan welcomed delegates from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for the 35th meeting of the Council of Heads of State News Agencies, also known as the CIS Information Council. The gathering, held in Bishkek, focused on strategies to promote tourism across the CIS region.
During the meeting, participants discussed the development of the tourism sector and emphasized the importance of providing comprehensive, objective coverage of both established and emerging travel routes within the Commonwealth.
