Kyano Cottignies has lost the leader’s jersey during the second day of the Keizer der Junioren cycling race. The second-year junior rider was overtaken in the standings by French first-year rider Victor Devos.
Cottignies, who previously secured a victory in the event’s opening stage, reflected on his performance following the race. He stated that he did everything he could but experienced muscle acidification too quickly during the competition. Despite losing the lead, Cottignies expressed satisfaction with his overall result, noting that he can live with his second-place finish in the final classification.
