Kwajalein leaders are lining up against the Compact of Free Association which is to be voted on September 7. Yesterday, Kwajalein Mayor Alvin Jacklick said he wanted to be the first mayor to come out against the Compact. Also, yesterday, Kwajalein Senator Ataji Balos described the Compact as a ‘177 deal’.
