Kush has named Lola, Mystic and Jackie Jacks as his three favourite female artists while discussing the women he believes are standing out in the local music scene.
He immediately identified Lola as one of his selections and described Mystic as another young artist he is strongly supporting. Kush said he hopes Mystic achieves major success with her career.
Jackie Jacks completed his top three, with Kush saying people familiar with him would already know about his appreciation for her work.
Kush also confirmed that he has previously worked with both Lola and Jackie Jacks.
His strongest comments were reserved for Lola, whom he described as both an artist and a brand. He praised her authenticity and said what audiences see and hear from Lola is genuinely representative of who she is.
According to Kush, his past studio sessions with Lola focused on allowing her personality to remain at the centre of the music rather than forcing her into a different style.
He said he would be willing to work with her again whenever she is ready.
