A fire broke out this afternoon in the village of Larushk, Krujë, destroying a local animal feed store and killing several livestock animals. The blaze also damaged the feed supply and the storage area adjacent to the feed house. Firefighters from Krujë arrived promptly after the incident was reported, but the flames spread rapidly, consuming the feed, a number of cows, goats and sheep that were housed in the facility. The fire also caused significant material damage to the property of Deli and Osman Tufë. The Tufa family suffered considerable losses, including the feed that had fallen during the afternoon hours. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigators have not yet identified a source.
