Knife Attack in Rio Claro Bar Results in Serious Injuries

A 45-year-old man suffered significant injuries after a knife attack at the Circle Square Bar, located on San Pedro Road, Rio Claro. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, after a heated argument with an individual known as Jerome or ‘Toos.’ The dispute began within the bar premises and escalated onto the street, where Toos allegedly used a knife to inflict multiple wounds on the victim. Onlookers from the bar promptly came to the victim’s aid and rushed him to the Rio Claro Health Centre, where he received treatment before being discharged.
