Kees has confirmed that work is already underway on another album, following the release of Man With No Door.
Speaking on the Cory Shepherd Podcast, the Kes frontman said the project is currently in development and that material is already being assembled.
“Actually working on one right now,” he said, adding that the project is already “on the way.”
The announcement comes as Kes continues expanding its live presence beyond traditional Carnival spaces, including performances connected to jazz festivals and the band’s recent Tiny Desk appearance.
Kees said he now feels increasingly free to create the music he wants, while having a better understanding of how to release and position that work.
