The Stony Hill police in St Andrew are currently investigating the murder of a shopkeeper that occurred last night. The victim has been identified as 53-year-old Gary Frazer, who resided in Lane Pass, Golding Spring, and operated a business known as Big Star HQ.
According to reports, the incident took place around 8:45 p.m. when Frazer was at his shop. He was approached by an assailant who emerged from a motor vehicle. Witnesses indicate that Frazer attempted to flee the scene but was pursued by the gunman, who shot him multiple times.
After sustaining serious injuries, Frazer collapsed on the roadway, while the shooter escaped in the waiting vehicle. Emergency services were notified, and police arrived at the scene to find Frazer lying on the ground with significant blood loss due to his gunshot wounds.
He was subsequently transported to the Kingston Public Hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, Frazer succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more information regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of the attacker.
