Kashima Antlers played to a 3-3 draw against Kawasaki Frontale in a Meiji Yasuda J1 League match held on September 19 at Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu in Kanagawa Prefecture. The result marks the first point earned by Kashima in four matches.
Following the draw, Kashima holds a season record of four wins, one draw, and three losses, totaling 13 points and placing them eighth in the league standings. The match was attended by 22,734 spectators.
Kashima took the lead in the 44th minute with a goal from Leo Ceara, but Kawasaki equalized in the 48th minute through Marcinho. Kawasaki moved ahead in the 54th minute with a goal by Ito. Leo Ceara scored his second goal of the match in the 67th minute to level the score at 2-2.
In the 83rd minute, Matsumura scored to give Kashima a temporary lead. However, Kawasaki secured a draw in the 97th minute with a goal from Patrick Verhon.
