Inmate Vicky Boodram Aims to Become Attorney After Release

Vicky Boodram, a former travel agent currently serving time at the Women’s Prison in Arouca, has announced her ambition to become an attorney-at-law upon her release. Speaking at the R.I.S.E. (Reintegration Support and Empowerment) fashion show, Boodram highlighted the transformative impact of reformative programs, which have allowed her to study law independently. She expressed her eagerness for legal release, emphasizing her commitment to giving back to the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service and providing fair legal representation in the future. The fashion show was organized by the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services, the Gender and Child Affairs Division, and the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, showcasing the potential for rehabilitation and reintegration.
