In a successful strike against organized crime, officers from the North Central Division executed an intelligence-led operation in Bon Air on the afternoon of March 26, 2026. This operation, part of an ongoing initiative to dismantle criminal networks, took place between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., spanning a total of six hours.
The joint team, comprising the North Central Division Gang and Intelligence Unit and the North Central Division Task Force (Area East), acted based on meticulously analyzed intelligence. The officers descended on specific premises known to be linked to individuals involved in organized crime.
During the raid, the officers seized a 9mm pistol, contributing to the primary objective of the operation—disrupting illegal activities and proactively removing dangerous weapons from the streets. The authorities emphasized the significance of such coordinated efforts in breaking down the infrastructure of local gangs.
Although no immediate arrests were reported, ongoing investigations are centered on tracing the origin of the firearm and its connection to local criminal elements. These efforts underscore the commitment to enhancing public safety within the community.
