**IKEA lowers prices on over 1,000 products in Iceland**
Vilhjálmur Birgisson, chairman of the Federation of General and Special Workers in Iceland, has publicly commended IKEA for its decision to reduce prices on more than 1,000 items.
According to the announcement, the price adjustments include reductions of up to 30% on select products. Birgisson welcomed the move, noting the impact such price cuts have on the consumer market.
