Iceland Airwaves 2026 unveils star-studded line-up featuring Janus Rasmussen, GRIMA and Upper Mall Rats

Iceland Airwaves 2026 has announced its full line-up, featuring 107 artists across seven Reykjavík venues over three days in November. The festival’s expanded roster includes Faroe Islands-born producer Janus Rasmussen, who will perform as part of the FMX (Faroe Music Export) showcase. Rasmussen, known for his work with electronic duo KIASMOS alongside Ólafur Arnalds, brings a blend of electronic and experimental sounds to the festival.

The line-up also highlights international acts such as Canadian slacker-rock band Upper Mall Rats, appearing under the Music NWT (Northwest Territories) banner, and Spanish post-punk artist GRIMA. Other standout additions include Madrid-based DJ PATATAONSTEREO, who specialises in UK garage, house, and techno, as well as Valencian producer RUVENRUVEN, whose work spans pop, electronica, and darkwave. Barcelona duo SUNTRAP, comprising Martí Canales and Jamie Taylor, will also take the stage.

The festival continues to showcase a mix of Icelandic talent alongside international acts, including local favourites such as Agent Fresco, Brynja, and MAMMÚT. The full list of performers spans genres from electronic and post-punk to slacker-rock and darkwave, reflecting Iceland Airwaves’ reputation for eclecticism. Festival and day passes are now available for purchase via the official website.

Iceland Airwaves, now in its 20th edition, has grown into one of Europe’s most anticipated music festivals, drawing crowds with its diverse programming and intimate venues. The 2026 event promises to build on this legacy, offering a platform for both established and emerging artists from around the world.
