‘I Want Back Mi Daughter’: Mother’s Anguished Plea Five Months After Moesha Hyatt Vanishes

For five months, Antonette Rose-Green has lived with the pain of uncertainty, waiting for answers about the disappearance of her daughter, Moesha Hyatt.

The 24-year-old has not been seen or heard from since February 20, leaving Rose-Green desperate for her safe return. The distraught mother is now appealing to anyone with information about her daughter’s whereabouts to come forward.

“I can’t even focus at work and mi nuh think people even understand how mi feel. I want back my daughter, and if the person who have her make mi get back her alive, not even charges mi would push her to press,” Rose-Green said.

“Right now, I would give my life in exchange for her. I would die for her, and even though I wouldn’t see her, I know my grandson would have his mother. God can take anybody life at any time, but my daughter would have a longer life with her son than mi. I just want back mi daughter,” she added.

According to the Olympic Gardens police, Hyatt was last seen about 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 20, on Princess Street in downtown Kingston. She is of dark complexion, slim build, and is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Rose-Green said her fears grew after she was unable to contact her daughter following a routine phone call. She explained that she had collected Hyatt’s four-year-old son from his grandfather and later called her daughter to ask a question, but the call went unanswered.

The mother said Hyatt’s disappearance is completely out of character, describing her as a responsible young woman who was devoted to her child.

“My daughter is not a troublemaker. She does her little wholesale work and takes care of her child. She wouldn’t just get up and go away like that. Her passport is not missing or anything like that,” Rose-Green said.

Anyone with information that could assist in locating Moesha Hyatt is being asked to contact the Olympic Gardens police at 876-923-5468.
