“I’m Not An Alien”: Kess Ramsey Laughs Off Slingshot And Crab Gundy Comparisons
Social media personality Kess Ramsey is capturing hearts online after openly addressing one of the questions he receives most often: why he has 11 fingers.
In a video that has already attracted more than 119,000 views and over 1,400 reactions, Kess explained that he was born with six fingers on his right hand and five on his left. He said he regularly has to remind viewers that he isn’t hiding his hand. It’s simply something he was born with.
“I have 11 fingers. Six on one hand, five on the other. I was born with it,” Kess said.
Using his trademark humour, he reassured viewers that he has no problem laughing about his unique trait.
“It’s okay to laugh about it. I just laugh about it all the time, so it’s totally fine,” he added.
Kess also addressed some of the comments and jokes he’s heard over the years.
“I’m not an alien. Yes, it looks like a slingshot. Yes, it looks like a crab gundy. I’ve heard all the names,” he joked before inviting followers to come up with new nicknames for his extra finger in the comments.
Rather than allowing the attention to bother him, Kess has embraced what makes him different. His confidence and good humour have resonated with thousands of viewers, many of whom praised him for promoting self acceptance and body positivity.
The viral video has sparked a wave of supportive comments, with many saying his openness is a refreshing reminder that our differences should be celebrated rather than hidden.
For Kess, having 11 fingers isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s simply part of who he is and, judging by the response online, many people appreciate the positive message he’s sharing.
