Husband makes allegations after breakdown of his 25-year marriage

A Trinidad and Tobago man has publicly spoken about the breakdown of his 25-year marriage, making a series of allegations about his wife and a church she attends.

The man, who identified himself as Joey Mongru, said he and his wife, Shamin Mongru, have been married for 25 years but claimed he noticed significant changes in their relationship over approximately the past two years.

Mongru alleged that his wife became increasingly distant and began spending more time away from home. He further claimed that she would leave home appearing to be going to work while, according to him, sometimes taking vacation days without his knowledge.

He also alleged that she became secretive with her mobile phone and that her wedding ring went missing. Mongru claimed he was initially told the ring had been lost during a robbery, but he later became suspicious about what had happened.

The husband went on to make allegations of infidelity involving another individual whom he claimed was connected to a church attended by his wife. He also accused people associated with the church of encouraging relationships between married women and other men.
