Hoy inicia cuestionado juicio contra veteranos y ex combatientes

A controversial trial against veterans and former combatants is set to begin today at the Tribunal Primero contra el Crimen Organizado Número 3 in Soyapango. The trial, which will be presided over by an anonymous judge, involves members of the Alianza Nacional El Salvador en Paz who are accused of “terrorism”. One of the defendants is José Santos Melara, also known as “Pepe”.
