Housing Ministry Halts Illegal Vehicle Repairs at HDC Residential Site

The Ministry of Housing has taken decisive action against an alleged illegal vehicle repair operation at one of its HDC residential developments. During a site visit, Minister Phillip ‘Fix It’ Alexander addressed residents’ complaints by ordering the immediate cessation of the unauthorized activities.

Minister Alexander confronted a man identified as ‘Jerry’ who was allegedly running the operation. Alexander highlighted significant violations of HDC property rules and directed that all vehicles under repair be promptly removed.

Residents have expressed concerns regarding the safety and disruption caused by the repair activities. Alexander emphasized that the operation was not permissible and underscored that all repair work on the premises must end immediately.

The minister set a deadline for those involved to clear the vehicles and equipment from the compound by Friday, warning that any subsequent visit would result in enforcement measures. Despite ‘Jerry’s’ denial of ownership of some items, the directive was clear: no further repairs were allowed.

This incident has sparked wider discussions on the appropriate use of HDC properties, stressing the need to preserve residential areas as safe and peaceful communities, free from unauthorized commercial activities.
