Chief Bode George, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has responded to allegations made by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Wike had claimed that George’s Abuja residence was acquired with funds belonging to Rivers State.
George has dismissed these claims as false, stating that the Maitama property was legitimately acquired. He has also threatened to take Wike to court over the allegations. In his response, George suggested that Wike should seek psychiatric evaluation, stating that he needs to go to a psychiatric hospital.
The dispute between the two politicians is ongoing, with George maintaining that his property was acquired through legitimate means. The matter may be taken to court, as George has indicated his intention to drag Wike to court over the allegations.
