The sociology group of Andorra Recerca + Innovació (AR+I) began fieldwork on Monday with telephone surveys for the second semester of the 2026 Observatori. The survey will focus on three main topics: the primary concerns of Andorran citizens, the housing situation, and a new section on the use of digital technologies. The two‑week fieldwork will be conducted by telephone, targeting a sample of approximately 750 respondents. The survey universe includes all residents of Andorra aged 18 and over who live in a household with a landline or a mobile phone. The Observatori is a periodic survey that started in 2002. Its purpose is to measure the evolution of various social indicators, analyze changes in thematic areas, and compare results with neighboring countries. Typically, the Observatori is carried out twice a year, with one wave in spring and another in autumn. AR+I has made available a frequently asked questions section for anyone who has questions about the telephone surveys. The FAQ explains what a survey is, how telephone numbers are selected, how respondent anonymity is guaranteed, and how the collected data will be used.
