Guyana: Fire in Blairmont Claims Life of 62-Year-Old Woman

A fire in Blairmont, West Coast Berbice, resulted in the death of a 62-year-old woman on Tuesday morning. The victim, identified as Bibi Shafroon Ramprashad, also known as “Zina,” was wheelchair-bound and was unable to escape the flames that engulfed her home.
