Guyana and China Open $10.8 Million Friendship Park

Guyana has officially opened the US$10.8 million Guyana China Friendship Park on the West Bank of Demerara, marking a major public recreation investment and another milestone in bilateral ties. President Irfaan Ali said the project reflects the deep historical and cultural relationship between the two countries, while Chinese Ambassador Yang Yang praised the park as a symbol of shared progress and cooperation.
