Gunman Attacks Woman in Supermarket Carpark

A harrowing incident unfolded on Friday evening in Diego Martin when a 28-year-old woman was targeted by an unidentified gunman at the Tru Valu supermarket compound. The woman, herself a resident of Diego Martin, was in her car around 7:30 p.m. when the assailant approached and opened fire on her vehicle. The victim recognized the attacker as the same man who had engaged in a fight with her brother earlier that day. The brother had used her car to visit Tru Valu around 6:30 p.m. and had a confrontation with an unknown individual, losing his cellphone in the process. The sister later returned to the scene to recover the lost device, but encountered the gunman who fired at her car. She managed to escape unharmed by driving out of the parking lot at speed.
