Gun Arrests Shake Community

On July 22nd, 2025, Southern Division officers conducted a series of operations during a State of Emergency, leading to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of a revolver and ammunition. The first operation took place in Pleasantville at approximately 2:45 pm, when officers from the San Fernando Police Station, acting on a tip-off, searched a residence and found 15 rounds of ammunition hidden inside a juice bottle. Three men present at the home were taken into custody. Later that evening, around 6 pm, authorities moved to the Debe district where they apprehended a 41-year-old man from San Fernando, who was found in possession of a revolver loaded with five rounds. Investigations into both incidents are currently ongoing, as authorities work to uncover further details related to these arrests and the weapons discovered.
