**Mauritius Cabinet Approves 2027 Public Holiday Calendar**

*Port Louis, 28 August 2026* – The Mauritian Cabinet of Ministers formally approved the official list of public holidays for the year 2027 during a meeting held on Friday, 28 August 2026.

The approval was made under the authority of Article 3(3) of the Public Holidays Act, as amended by the Economic and Financial Measures (Miscellaneous…) legislation. The ratified schedule comprises fifteen designated public holidays for 2027.
