Government Introduces Digital Trade License System Across Belize
The Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development and Local Government has launched a digital trade license system nationwide. The new system, which was introduced on July 31st, aims to simplify the application process for trade licenses across municipalities and rural authorities in Belize.
The digital system features two key components: the Trade License Management and Administration System (TRALMAS) and the Community Profile Information System (CPIS). According to the Ministry, these systems are designed to streamline trade license applications, making it easier for individuals and businesses to obtain the necessary licenses.
The introduction of the digital trade license system is part of the government’s efforts to modernize and improve the efficiency of its services. The new system is expected to benefit municipalities and rural authorities across Belize, making it easier for them to manage and administer trade licenses.
