**Funkfit American Samoa Wins Scaled Division at 11th Annual Toa Games**
**APIA, SAMOA** — Funkfit American Samoa secured first place in the Scaled Division at the 11th Annual Toa Games, a CrossFit-inspired competition hosted by CrossFit Fatu Toa in Apia.
The victory marks the first time a team from the Funkfit gym has won a division at the Toa Games. The winning team competed against 12 other squads, maintaining a consistent performance throughout the event’s series of challenges.
The team was led by captain Kennedy Nofoagatotoa, with teammates Jarret Sunia, Olivia Hogarth, and Alzy Mailei.
Following the win, the team credited their success to the guidance of Funkfit coach Claude Young and CrossFit Apia’s Walterlee Imo, both of whom assisted in the athletes’ preparation for the competition. The team also expressed gratitude to their families, friends, and the community for their support throughout the event.
