Santo Domingo – The Dominican government announced that, for the period covering August 29 through September 4, the retail prices of all major fuel types will remain unchanged. The decision applies to premium and regular gasoline, regular and optimum diesel, as well as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The price freeze follows the government’s routine weekly review of fuel tariffs, which are adjusted in response to fluctuations in international oil markets and domestic tax considerations. No specific price figures were released in the announcement.
