Trinidad minister, author and content creator Minister Denile B has opened up about one of the most painful chapters of her life, sharing how rejection, heartbreak and emotional pain became the start of a powerful journey toward healing and renewal.
In a candid testimony, Denile revealed that after the breakdown of her previous marriage, she was left emotionally shattered and unsure of what her future would look like. She said she was told she was not a good wife, was not submissive enough and would amount to nothing. She also spoke about being put out of her marital bedroom during one of the darkest periods of her life.
Rather than allowing that season to define her, Denile said she turned to God and began the difficult process of rebuilding herself from the inside out. She focused on healing emotionally, spiritually and mentally, learning to rediscover her worth and purpose.
As she gradually regained her footing, Denile began stepping into new opportunities that reflected her growth. She built a successful platform as a content creator, started working with brands and companies across Trinidad and Tobago, expanded her ministry, hosted women’s empowerment events and eventually became the owner of her own intimate event venue.
Her journey also brought her to a new chapter in love. Denile has since remarried gospel artiste Brandon Best, a milestone she has embraced as part of her testimony that healing and restoration are possible.
Denile has now documented much of that journey in her new book, I Was Built for This, where she shares her story of overcoming trauma, addiction, heartbreak and spiritual battles through faith.
For Denile, this chapter is not about proving people wrong. It is about showing that pain does not have to be permanent, and that even after life’s deepest setbacks, it is possible to rebuild stronger than before.
