Four Arrested After Violent Home Invasion Robbery

Police have arrested four men in connection with a violent home invasion and robbery targeting a businesswoman and her children in El Socorro over the weekend.
According to reports, the woman and her children had just exited their vehicle when they were confronted by the suspects. During the attack, the assailants allegedly snatched two gold chains from around the woman’s neck, removed a diamond bracelet from her wrist, and stole her handbag containing TT$20,000 and US$3,000.
The suspects then reportedly forced the woman and her children into their apartment, where they stole an estimated TT$100,000 worth of cash and jewellery before fleeing the scene.
Police investigations led to the arrest of four suspects. Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of those held or indicated whether additional arrests are expected as investigations continue.
