Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL), one of India’s leading healthcare delivery companies, announced on September 17, 2026 that it has signed definitive agreements with the Seth Sunder Lal Jain Charitable Eye Hospital (SLJ Society). The agreements will enable Fortis to provide healthcare services to a new super‑specialty hospital with more than 400 beds located in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi.
The SLJ Society is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Punjab Amendment). The partnership is intended to expand the range of medical services available at the Ashok Vihar facility, which will be among the largest super‑specialty hospitals in the region.
Fortis stated that the collaboration will leverage its expertise in hospital management and clinical care to support the development and operation of the new facility. The company has a track record of delivering high‑quality healthcare services across India.
