A former police officer was sentenced to 18 months of probation on Tuesday after pleading guilty to drug-related charges. Che Young, 38, of St George’s, appeared in court where he admitted to two counts involving the possession of controlled substances.
As part of the sentencing requirements, the court mandated that Young must undergo professional treatment. The proceedings concluded with the judge imposing the probationary period, during which the defendant will be monitored for compliance with the court’s orders.
