Flooding Reported in Orange Flats

Heavy rainfall has resulted in some flooding along sections of Orange Flats in Arima, with water accumulating on the roadway and causing some motorists to drive cautiously through the affected area.

While the flooding has not reached severe levels, residents are monitoring conditions as showers continue. The standing water has slowed traffic in parts of the community, though vehicles have remained passable.

With additional rain possible, residents are hopeful that drains will continue to cope with the runoff and that conditions will not deteriorate further.
