At approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, a gunman entered the main square in Kraków’s Old Town and opened fire, an act the Polish government has described as a terrorist attack. The shooting left at least six people dead and several others wounded. About fifteen individuals, including police officers and civilians from several European countries, are currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
