**Public Prosecutor’s Office Investigates GAP Organization Over Allegations of Human Trafficking and Sexual Assault**
**SANTIAGO, Chile** — The Central North Prosecutor’s Office and the Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) have launched an investigation into the “Grupos de Acción Popular” (GAP), an organization described as an ultra-leftist group, following allegations of human trafficking and the sexual assault of a minor.
Authorities are investigating claims that members of the organization targeted and recruited students from prominent high schools within the Santiago commune.
