A former detainee says one of the first things on his mind after regaining his freedom is getting something good to eat, with Popeyes or McDonald’s among his choices.
Speaking shortly after his release, the man was asked what he planned to do first now that he was free.
He responded that he wanted something proper to eat, mentioning Popeyes and McDonald’s as possibilities.
The former detainee said he had spent approximately three months in prison this time and also briefly reflected on the conditions he experienced while incarcerated.
Comparing this period behind bars with a previous experience, he remarked that there were fewer rats and cockroaches this time.
His comments provided a brief and somewhat light-hearted moment following his release, as his attention turned from life behind bars to something as ordinary as choosing his first meal.
After approximately three months in custody, Popeyes or McDonald’s could now be among his first stops as he returns to life outside prison.
